Advanced open water diver

Moving on to your education as a certified diver you have multiple choices: to become a Specialty, Adventure, or Advanced Open Water Diver. If you complete any of these three scuba dive trainings, you will get the certificate of a qualified diver. In particular, by completing the deep dive, the underwater navigation dive, plus any other three specialty dives, you will get the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Why become an Advanced Open Water Diver?

After 5 dives you will be more experienced and you will feel more comfortable in the water and of course you will enjoy diving more because you’re more familiar with the underwater environment.
 

What do you need to start?
The PADI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent from a recognized organization)
Minimum age of 16 years old and 12 years old for the Junior Advanced Open Water Diver.

What will I do?
The program includes 5 dives including the deep dive and underwater navigation dive.

How long will I need?

The recommended time of the program is 15 hours.
The minimum training time in sea is two days.

What is included in the course?
Manual (available in several languages) or PADI eLearning, diving kit rental.

What can I do in the future?
You can continue your education to more advanced specialties or to continue the program of Rescue Diver.
